This course will be delivered over a period of 550 nominal hours. Participants will have up to 10 months to complete this qualification.
This course will be delivered using a blended delivery model with a choice of a combination of online learning and/or a mixed delivery of online and some video conferencing or workshop based delivery. Educators will also be available to provide necessary support.

Successful completion of this qualification will enable you to progress to BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management or to gain employment in any Industry or Leadership and Management contexts.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts. As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of their team. They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
This qualification is beneficial for any person who may be:

- Have no formal qualifications
- Wish to review/update knowledge and practical experience
- Seeking a new career
Students may be able to shorten the length of their studies through the recognition of experience and/or qualifications gained elsewhere. Applications can be made for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer. These will be assessed according to the college’s policy & procedures to determine if/how much advanced standing will be granted. This course holds National Recognition.
The minimum age for eligible applicants is 18 years. Applicants must have successfully completed the equivalent of Year 11 according to the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Proficiency in English is required to meet Industry standards.
Although LLN test is not an entry requirement, students are asked to undertake the same so appropriate academic support can be ensured throughout the course of study.
